Our Story
Glasius is a family business that started in 2015, where the life experience of the owners have been translated into a special project with one goal – QUALITY Gelato.
Samir Sabbagh is the founder of “Glasius”, who was a journalist at “An-nahar” Newspaper and graduated from Lebanese University with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
He also was living in Stellarton, Canada for couple of years before moving back to Lebanon.
He was very passionated about opening a gelato business, which he thinks it was a big turning point in his life.
He learned ice cream craft under the leadership of old school Italian Chefs with the passion of improving.
In his gelato recipe he combines the knowledge of traditional Italian Gelateria with the latest technology.
In 2023, he added to the shops a new touch such as crepes, waffles, shakes and coffee.
His new warm recipes were inspired by the same goal of Gelato “quality” , so he used the best french flour, fresh eggs, fresh milk, and best holland butter with a unique combinations of Callebuat Belgium Chocolate.
All his recipes were a combination of old traditional pastry School theories and new technique introduced recently.
